Levels

Fresh New Face - Amateur:

  • Dancers with little or no stage experience
  • Under 2-3 years of heels experience
  • Dancers who haven’t placed first in an amateur category or have competed in higher levels
  • Dancers who have placed 2nd or 3rd in Amateur, but not more than once.

New Face - Semi Pro:

  • Dancers with more than 2–3 years of heels experience
  • Dancers who have won 1st place in a lower category
  • Pole heels instructors who have been teaching for more than 1 year and/or who have competed or placed in lower levels only
  • This category is not open to dancers who have placed first in semi pro.
  • Not eligible for those who have already competed in or placed in professional level
  • Dancers who have placed 2nd or 3rd in Semi Pro, but not more than once.

Pro:

  • Experienced performers with advanced skills and confident performance quality
  • High-level dancers who make a professional living from pole
  • Dancers who have previously competed in a pro category or have placed first in semi-pro

Legacy 40+:

  • A category for dancers over 40 that are primarily amateur and intermediate level competitors.
  • While dancers with Semi-Pro experience may be considered, eligibility is assessed on a case-by-case basis. The category is not intended for competitors who regularly compete at an advanced Semi-Pro or Professional level.*
  • This category is offered as an extra option. Dancers over 40 can choose any other category they wish.

*The reason for this is that the Semi-Pro level often covers a broad spectrum of dancers, ranging from intermediate level to teachers, or performers with an experience closer to a professional standard. For this reason, applications are reviewed individually rather than based on a single criterion.
